Superiority Admits Napoli Wolfsburg
Wolfsburg – Wolfsburg coach Dieter Hecking admitted his team’s defeat of Napoli. He praised Partenopei which appeared superior to win 4-1.
Wolfsburg have to swallow the bitter results when host Napoli at the Volkswagen Arena on Friday (04/17/2015) pm dawn earlier. Gawan Diego Benaglio conceded four times, each by Gonzalo Higuain, Marek Hamsik (2 goals), and Manolo Gabbiadini.
While the goal Nicklas Bendtner in the late game so the only goal that can be made Wolfsburg in the game.
Statistically, Wolfsburg is actually more in control of the game. They excel possession 56% -44%. However, Napoli appear more dangerous.
Both teams are both releasing 11 trial, but Wolfsburg only able to record four of which were on target. While Napoli had seven kick that led directly to the goal.
“I want to commend Napoli, because they show the best performance in recent months, although also with our help. From the very beginning was not too negative, but after we conceded a lack of ideas in tactics,” said Hecking quoted by Football Italia.
“In order to be able to rise as we did against Inter (Milan), we leave ourselves open at the back. But Napoli is on another level than Inter.”
“Napoli won many individual duels in various parts of the field. We often try to release the balls clever than just advanced to exert pressure.”
“We must acknowledge that the superior Napoli tonight. We did not lose a lot this season, but often can be a great defeat for the growth of the team,” he added.
Defeat is arguably surprising given Wolfsburg actually being in a good pace. They had previously only lost one of the last 23 competitive matches, or since the end of last November. The only defeat even then plucked with the score 1-0.
In that period, Benaglio et al. even picking just five times a draw. This means that they successfully won 17 more games. Looking at this rate, not surprisingly, Wolfsburg perched in second place in the Bundesliga.
Now move to the semifinals Wolfsburg obviously very heavy. They must win at least 4-0 away to San Paolo next week.
“It would be a historic wonders if it could reverse this situation in the second leg. But we at least have to show a very different performance at the San Paolo,” said Hecking.
